Insects in Pencil

Hello Friends!

A couple of mornings ago I decided to sketch these bees, butterflies, a grasshopper, and a ladybug. I checked out some books about bees from the library which also had great pictures of the other insects.

So it was fun to just sketch again. I have mostly been reading a lot and playing the piano again. Everything is harder with the cataracts in my eyes. But in a few weeks I will be getting the one in my left eye removed! And then it will take time to adjust to the artificial lens, but hopefully, I will be able to do my art more comfortably.

Have a wonderful day! 😀

Hello Friends!

This is the black wolf I drew after the white wolf that I posted yesterday. This wolf is on page 67 of my book called WOLVES, and the photo is credited to “Dseign Pics”.

Black wolves are gorgeous! In the color photo of this one, its eyes are a deep orange color!

Have a wonderful day! 😀

Hello Friends!

Here is something different! I bought a book called WOLVES about a month ago but have only had time to draw this one and another one I will post tomorrow. The photo credit for this one belongs to Ger Bosma, and it is on page 33.

This is an oversized book with some full-page spreads! I love it! Tomorrow I will post a black wolf. In the meantime I will be finishing my Van Gogh Art Journal!

Have a wonderful day! 😀

Mouse Tail Frustration!!

Hello Friends!

I have had a busy week!  I have been working hard on a story for my writing class.  It’s about a little girl who loves art and her best friend accidentally ruins the painting she’s working on!  There’s a lot more to it than this, of course, but I have spent many hours on it already.  So fun.

The other night I printed out some pictures of the mice in Cinderella which I think I told you before.  This one is so cute!  He’s so frustrated!!  I cannot find his name if he has one.

No tracing, just drawing by sight again…good practice.  As you can see he is a little bigger.  It was fun, though.  I didn’t bother to color it in or anything.

Hey!  I just now noticed something I forgot to put in which makes it look slightly off.  For those of you who like Search and Finds, have at it!  Let me know if you find it.  It is not in the background.  That’s the only hint you get!  I will have to go correct it now.

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug!  🙂
