Olive Ridley Sea Turtle
Here is my newest sea turtle, the Olive Ridley. It looks similar to the Loggerhead, but the colors are strikingly different. It will be a pretty green color.
So this is my rough drawing for my next painting! I don’t know when I’ll start on it yet, but hopefully soon.

Sea Turtle Videos!!
Here is some information about the state of sea turtles, conservation, and the device called a TEDs or turtle excluder devices that help prevent turtle bycatch, turtles that get caught in fishing nets. When this happens, the turtles get tangled up in them and will drown if they are not released. The TED helps save sea turtles, and I am glad someone came up with this great idea!

Sea Turtle Hatchlings
Here is my latest painting. I actually finished it yesterday so I will have to post a finished picture of it later. It may be a little hard to see the turtles, but they are there. Five of them! I am thinking of redoing this painting and drawing the turtles going out to sea at a different angle. I also don’t like how dark the blue water turned out on the side. But I do love the sunset!! 🙂
What do you think? Any ideas?
