About Me

DSCN2791

Hello! My name is Patsy H. Parker. I live in northern California, am married, and have two children who are grown now.

I paint with watercolors and acrylics, draw with graphite, and pen & ink.

I have been growing over the last few years as an artist. I love drawing and painting a variety of animals, especially sea turtles. I also draw and paint flowers, “gothic” ballerinas, and whatever else strikes my fancy.

Since January of 2019, I have been learning about and creating mixed media which I am really enjoying. I have been taking online classes with Miriam Schulman at http://schulmanart.com.

I am also a writer. I have recently had an article called “Dragons Down Under” published in a children’s magazine called Skipping Stones.

I would love to hear comments from fellow artists and anyone interested in any other topic on my blog. I enjoy viewing all kinds of art that others create and reading other blogs.

I hope you enjoy my blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Patsy.
