About Me

DSCN2791

Hello! My name is Patsy H. Parker. I live in northern California, am married, and have two children who are grown now.

I paint in watercolors, acrylics, mixed media, and also draw in pencil and pen & ink.

I have been growing over the last few years as an artist by taking many online art classes. I love drawing and painting a variety of animals and creating characters for ideas I have for children’s books. One thing I love drawing and painting are what I call “gothic” ballerinas which are basically ballerinas in strange poses with pale skin and sometimes no faces!

I am also a writer. I have had two articles published in a children’s magazine called Skipping Stones. I created the drawings that are in the articles as well. If you would like more information about these or have any questions or comments about my work, you may e-mail me at whitefeatherfloating@Yahoo.com. I would love to hear from you!

I hope you enjoy my blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Patsy 🙂

  1. I have been admiring your art work. Have you ever thought of finding a children’s book author and doing the artwork? Your drawings are spectacular!

    • Thank you! Yes, I even took a course for learning the whole process, but then I had severe pain in my right shoulder, had rotator cuff surgery, and recently had to have cararact surgery, lol! So…I haven’t had the energy to pursue it.
