Hello Friends!

It has been a stretch of time since I last posted. I recently bought several drawing books that that teach how to draw Manga, Chibis (pronounced Chee-Bees), and cartoon characters. So I have been sketching some in pencil for now.

Chibis are super cute in my opinion. One of the books I bought is Manga for the Beginner…Chibis by Christopher Hart.

He states in his book, “Chibis typically have giant heads on small, childlike bodies and round little hands and feet.”

Some Chibis are drawn three head lengths tall, some two head lengths tall, and the ones I love are drawn with their heads twice as tall as their bodies! They are super cute.

In my next post I will have a couple of Chibis and their animal friends! It’s always fun to learn new things.
