“Wampus! Watch Out!

Hello Friends!

The other day I was watching Wampus, our cat, sniffing the Christmas tree. It is fragrant. We get a live one every year. And I wondered what she might look like if she were to climb it and tip it over, ha ha! And of course I had to have our dog Brownie (who sadly is not with us anymore) yelling at her. So I sketched it. This was a fun one! I love drawing these two goofballs. I am always thinking about how to write them in a children’s book and illustrate it. Always thinking…

I hope your week went well! I have been enjoying one of the classes from Make Art That Sells that is part of the My Year In Art School program. We have instant access to several rught now that are part of the bulk of 2022 classes. So I am doing the one about drawing for editorial pieces. We are learning how to draw concepts which is challenging and fun! I am already enjoying Lilla Rogers’s teaching style. She’s really good at getting me to think and picture concepts to draw!

Have a wonderful day! 😀

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
