Slug & Snail Surprise!

Hello Friends!

Yesterday I used Derwent Inktense Pencils to draw this scene on Bristol paper. What I like about these pencils is that the rich color is activated with water and a paintbrush. I just “paint” the drawing which is pretty cool.

So my daughter’s pet snails inspired me to draw a snail and a couple of slugs closing in on this fancy frog. He is surprised, because if they make it to the pond, I think it will be dinnertime for him! Maybe these gastropods are being too trusting of this fancy frog. What do you think?

I think I still need work on creating better backgrounds for my characters, but I still had a lot of fun creating this one!

Have a wonderful day! 😀

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork and some writing, but I also created a blog called "My Crazy Life!" in order to simply write my short autobiography and hopefully get some feedback on it as I go. However, it is a very slow project right now. You can find it here: https://spreadingmy2wings.wordpress.com Thanks for visiting! :)
