Pete’s Dragon in Mixed Media

Hello Friends!

Yesterday I had a lot of fun painting this version of Pete’s Dragon. I used acrylics and acrylic inks on canvas. I also used black and white Posca pens.

Tamara Laporte offered this class on her website. I began drawing it a couple of weeks ago, but didn’t get to transfer it to my canvas until earlier this week. Then I decided to finish it yesterday.

I used various greens for the dragon, Paynes Grey and white for the lighthouse, purples for the house and Naples yellow for the sand. I may still add more detail to the sand, but I like it this way all right.

I am not sure what my next project is going to be yet. But I have been reading a lot and exercising, so I haven’t been doing as much art lately. However, I do have a drawing that will be posted tomorrow.

Have a wonderful day! 🙂

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
