Bookworm Granny
Hello Friends!
Yesterday and today I drew, collaged, stenciled, and painted this Bookworm Granny. I got the idea from Tamara Laporte’s “Bookworm Girl” video where she creates a girl with bright red hair, less books, etc. But I just watched her as she created her girl and came up with the idea for creating a granny with gray hair, little reading glasses, and wrinkles on her face!
Then I picked a few book titles she would enjoy reading for herself and some to read aloud to children.
I really enjoyed doing this one. I can’t do all the free “Taster” sessions Tamara and other instructors are offering on Facebook this week. And now, after doing my Bookworm Granny, I have ideas for a couple of other bookworm characters!
Have a wonderful day! 😀
