Hello Friends!

Yesterday I decided to paint a fairytale twist. Instead of the wolf being a conniving stinker and finding out where Red’s grandmother lives so he can go gobble her up, he is a kindhearted and friendly wolf who lets Red pet him. Then she will give him a treat from her basket, and they will walk to her grandmother’s house and have a picnic! Only he will be Red and Grandma’s guest. But he will only visit occasionally since they know it isn’t wise to try and turn wild animals into pets. They are smart! But he won’t forget their kindness and will stay close by to protect Grandma’s house at night! 

I painted this in watercolors on 11×14″ watercolor paper. I am planning on doing Red and the wolf on canvas in mixed media but not the same scene.
