Nancy Drew Book Cover in Acrylics
Hello Friends!
Yesterday I painted this for Week 5 of Let’sfaceit2021. Our instructor was Roselyn Pratt. This is from the book called “The Secret of the Forgotten City.”
This year the theme is stories, so instructors are sharing about characters from their favorite stories, but this week Roselyn shared that she loved Nancy Drew books. So she did two demonstrations. One was from an old book cover, and the other was from a picture from the Nancy Drew movie that came out last year or so. I never saw it.
Anyway, I googled Nancy Drew books and decided to do this cover, because I love the colors! This was a nice change of pace for me this week!
Have a wonderful day! 😀

I felt the same as Jill, having read so many Nancy Drew books. I even got in trouble for reading them at school. I should have been doing other work but I held the book below the top of my desk and thought the teacher couldn’t see that I was reading. Is suppose she should have been glad I wanted to read so much. Anyway, great cover job!

Thank you, Anneli! That’s a great story about your reading in class. And really! Your teacher should have rewarded you, lol! 🙂

Well, that’s what I thought too, when I became a teacher later on. I thought the whole idea was to get kids to read! But I guess it wasn’t the right time.
