Christmas Mash-Up!
Hello Friends!
This was a fun painting to do! I combined, or did a “mash-up”, if you will, of “A Charlie Brown Christmas” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. Hopefully, you have heard of the second story which was written and illustrated by Tim Burton.
An art group I am in on Facebook is throwing out ideas for mash-ips of characters from various things all the time. The challenge was to mash up whatever we wanted with the characters from “The Nightmare Before Christmas”. And since Charlie Brown is my favorite Christmas show, that’s what I wanted to do.
This is acrylics and pen on cardboard. I used a thick piece of cardboard that I saved from a pad of watercolor paper I used up. I save them if they are thick and use them for other things!
I hope everyone is having a nice weekend!
Have a wonderful day! 😀

Thank you, Jill! Snoopy and Linus have always been my favorites. I especially love them in the Christmas special. Although Lucy listening to Schroder playing and when she criticizes Beethoven…that’s classic! 🙂
