“Ponyboy and Johnny” in Acrylics
Hello Friends!
Happy Thanksgiving! Yesterday I just had to paint the sunrise scene with Ponyboy and Jonny after I finished reading “The Outsiders” for the first time. I really enjoyed the love and intense friendship these two boys shared! What a gift!
This painting is for this 47th week of Let’sFaceIt2020! (Pardon the glare in the picture.) There’s only three weeks left now. But after a two week break, it starts all over again in January, 2021.
I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving if you celebrate it today. And if not, it’s still a great day to be alive!
Have a wonderful day! 😀

Thank you very much, Anneli! We tried a Tofurkey this year with a variety of vegetables. Our son is a vegetarian and our daughter is a vegan. I didn’t care for the Tofurkey myself and neither did our daughter’s boyfriend. but now I don’t have to deal with turkey leftovers.

I hate to say it, Patsy, but tofuturkey sounds gross to me. I’m afraid I’m all for the real thing when it comes to turkey. But I’m sure your kids enjoyed it, and that’s the main thing.

Oh I agree with you! I didn’t like it. I like tofu in certain recipes, but it was gross. And for Christmas I am making my ham this year, lol! 😁
