Marilyn Monroe in Ink and Watercolor #2
Hello Friends!
This morning i decided to paint Marilyn Monroe again. I drew her lightly in pencil first last night. Then I decided to paint her in watercolor and added India ink to her features. And I used acrylic inks for her shirt.
I used a picture of her from when she was older than in the last painting I did of her. I enjoyed doing this one even more because her hair was styled differently, and part of her arms and hand are showing as well. I also really like the gold color of her shirt.
I have been considering doing a series of ink and watercolor portraits soon. I just can’t decide whether I want to do a series of a famous person or an unknown person.
Have a wonderful day! 😀

I really like this, Patsy! I’m a big fan of watercolours and ink, and you’ve got Marilyn’s features coming out with just a very few light touches.
