Marilyn Monroe in Mixed Media
Hello Friends!
Last night I decided to paint a young Marilyn Monroe using ink and watercolor since I remembered how much I liked using these two mediums together after I did this week’s lesson for Let’sFaceIt2020.
I didn’t use as much ink in this one especially not the thick lines I can get with my felt calligraphy-tipped pen. But that’s because I wanted a much softer look to this portrait.
This was fun, and there may be more to come!
Have a wonderful day! 😀

Nicely done. She sure had a short life!

Thanks! She sure did…so sad how she was just used by so many men!

Times are different now and maybe she would have been able to make better choices more easily.
