Portrait in Mixed Media
Hello Friends!
Yesterday our instructor for Let’sFaceIt2020 was Deanna Strachan-Wilson. She provided us with a PDF file only instead of a video for this week’s mini lesson.
Our mediums were black ink pens of different thicknesses and watercolors. We painted on Vellum Bristol paper. Mine is 100 lb. weight paper which is a nice paper to do mixed media on. It is smooth and just the right thickness. This was a lot of fun!
Have a wonderful day! 😀

She looks like she’s right out of the 60s.

I was a kid in the 60s, and remember my mom making me wear my hair in a “teased” bun for cheerleading, softball and piano recital pictures! I never liked having my hair in rollers or teased, though, ha, ha, ha!!

I remember that time too. Good thing we can do something more natural with our hair (if we want). Haha, like dyeing it purple!
