Portrait in Charcoal and Pastels

Hello Friends!

Yesterday I drew this for Week 42 of Let’sFaceIt2020. Our instructor was Renee Mueller again, and this was her main lesson which took a few hours!

I used black and white charcoals for her figure. Then I colored her jacket with a blend of black, white, orange and beige soft pastels.

Lastly, I darkened the top corners of the drawing and whitened the areas around her head to give her a glowing effect.

Renee Mueller is a great teacher. This was a lot of fun!

Have a wonderful day! 😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
