Portrait in Acrylic Inks

Hello Friends!

This week our lesson for Let’sFaceIt2020 was with Sara Burch. She used acrylic inks and acrylic paint on an 8×10 wood cradle board. Her painting was more abstract and completely different from mine, though.

The only cradle board I had on hand had a pink elf in mixed media on it that I never really liked. So I just painted over it!

This image was originally done by Kim Fujimata for the cover of a CD called “The First Flute, Songs of Courtship” by Ron Allen. I have had this CD for years and have always loved the cover. My painting is similar, but not exactly like hers. But I wanted to give her the credit she deserves for such a beautiful piece of work!

I really enjoyed watching how Sara uses acrylic inks. This was so fun!

Have a wonderful day! 😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
