Audrey Hepburn in Pencil & Charcoals

Hello Friends!

Last night I was thinking about watching “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” again, but decided to draw a portrait of Audrey Hepburn instead. But this is obviously not what her character looked like in the movie.

This was really fun and challenging, because she had such beautifully unique features, namely her eyes and cheek bones. I also used a gray-toned stick of charcoal that actually looks like a yellowish-brownish color which I like a lot. I think it gives her more character somehow. So on my app for Instagram I found a background colir to compliment it.

I found snapshots from the movie of her holding “Cat” which I would like to try and paint. I went crazy browsing on Pinterest last night!

I have more energy this week since I finished my class for Let’sFaceIt2020 on Monday! I want to paint another abstract portrait but try using a credit card to do the swiping since I won’t get my wedge painting tool in the mail until next week.

Have a wonderful day! 😀
