“Elves in Love” Pencil Drawing

Hello Friends!

A few days ago I sketched these little “elves in love,” as I call them, in pencil to work on more of my fantasy character studies.

I couldn’t begin my painting for Let’sFaceIt2020 this week until today. We had a planned power outage this week because of high winds in our area. So we didn’t have power from Tuesday night until about noon on Thursday.

I wanted to draw the figures onto a black canvas, however, I didn’t have one. So I painted black gesso onto a white canvas. It’s nice to have black gesso on hand to do this instead of buying black canvases as they are more expensive.

I am going to paint Japanese women on it with acrylics. And I’m planning to use bright colors and also paint their faces like Geshias. I hope they turn out well.

Have a wonderful day! 😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
