Girl in Red Shoes-Stage 3
And a close-up of her face
Hello Friends!
Yesterday I spent the morning working only on this girl’s face. I still have a couple of more layers to go, then I hope to move on with everything else.
It is amazing to me how long it can take to layer in just the face! I worked on this for a few hours! Of course, that inckuded having to stop and start Kara Bullock’s teaching video which in its entirety is only about 35 minutes.
It is still enjoyable seeing how colors and shadows change as the layers go on. I am loving learning the process!
I still have more to do on her face and the details of her eyes and lips before moving on to the rest.
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

You’re welcome! Thanks for stopping by to look! 😀 I don’t know how this layering is going to turn out, but the process is usually worth it no matter what!

Looking good. Must be fun to do a project like this in steps with instructions.

Thank you, Anneli. Well, it is also a little frustrating, because sometimes she starts to say what she’s mixing, but doesn’t always finish her sentences, ha ha! Fortunately, she shows her palette and I can figure it out. 😁
But I do think it’s fun!

Well, that leaves lots of room for your imagination if sometime you don’t see her palette.
