Young Girl in Acrylics
Hello Friends!
Yesterday I finished this painting. It is an 11×14 acrylic on canvas. This was for this week’s portrait for #Let’sFaceIt2020.
Lucy Cooke was our instructor. She painted in the colors that Henri Matisse used a lot. Hers had more black and blue, but after looking at some of his work, I wanted to go a little bolder and brighter. I really enjoed the challenge of the angles. The photo we painted from was of a girl just sitting on the floor in a library I think. But the background was too busy, so I made up my own. This was a lot of fun!
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀
