Little Girl in Mixed Media
Hello Friends!
I can hardly believe that this is Week #27 of Let’sfaceit2020 already! Our teacher this week was Maria Pace-Wynters again whom I love! She is a wonderful mixed media artist!
The picture she provided for us is of her daughter taken when she was seven. She is so cute! I did her hair a little differently and I didn’t use all the same colors Maria used. I wanted to brighten it up so I used my yellow acrylic ink. I used India ink for the outline and acrylic inks for the rest. And I added the washi tape in the corners for some contrast. I created this one on 9×12″ Bristol smooth surface paper. And I also noticed I drew her an extra finger on her right hand! Ha ha!
This project rekindled my love for mixed media. So who knows what I may do next!
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

Nice little picture and I like the washi tape too . I must try out acrylic inks one day soon .
