Portrait in Watercolor and Pen

Hello Friends!

I can hardly believe I am half done with this year long portrait drawing and painting class! This week is number 26! Our instructor this week is Angela Kennedy again. She draws and paints such cute and whimsical portraits!

She painted in watercolors this time. Then she used a white watercolor for the white on the dress and stockings. I don’t have white watercolor, so I used white gouache on the layers of the dress, but I only have a little bit. So then I used white acrylics to paint the stripes on the stockings. This was a fun painting to do. I like Angela’s style.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

  1. Nice job Patsy! I like the whimsical look. You should check out fellow blogger Pauline. I don’t have a link handy, but she’s a regular comment her on my blog. She does all types of beautiful whimsical drawings on greeting cards and portraits. I’ll try to get her link and send it to you.
