Swirling Mermaids in Pencil

Hello Friends!

Recently I purchased a book called “Mermaid Wisdom” by Brenda Rosen. It is a used book, and because of the condition it arrived in, my complaint to the company made it become a FREE book. It absolutely reeked of such a strong mildew smell that I couldn’t read it until now! I received it weeks ago. Strangely, though, the book’s pages have no sign of mold anywhere.

Anyway, the reason I bought it is because I wanted to learn about the history of mermaid legends. Katrina Koltes is going to be working on a new workshop at some point focusing on mermaids which everyone in the fairy workshop class is really excited about! So I thought I would start learning about them now. And of course, that inspired me to try to draw them. They are not easy to draw by any means either!

I hope everyone had a good and healthy week in your part of the world! We are doing well here in California.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug!  😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
