Fairy Journal Pages in Watercolor
And a close-up of this mischevious fairy
Hello Friends!
Last night I painted this 2-page spread in my fairy journal. I had a few new Daniel Smith Watercolor colors to try out. It was relaxing and fun. I wanted it to look kid-friendly since maybe someday we will have grandkids I can read to and do art with. I really miss those days of home-schooling our kids when they were grade school aged.
I have so much of my art saved from all these years of doing it, that I think I may just make my own art journals instead of doing big pieces on canvas from now on. But I do have quite a few blank canvases to use up for the course of Let’sfaceit2020 over the rest of this year. I just don’t want to invest in anymore. I can still paint with acrylics in journals and on smaller thicker paper, so my paint won’t go to waste either.
I am going to start on this week’s portrait today which is going to be in pencil, charcoal, and India ink. It should be interesting!
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀
