Portrait of a Warrior Woman in Watercolor

Hello Friends!

Yesterday and today I drew and painted this “Warrior Woman” in watercolor for this week’s lesson of Let’sfaceit2020 with Katrina Koltes. It is only a 16×14″ sheet of 300 lb. watercolor paper. So going back to doing a very small face again was quite a transition! And I can’t believe the first 15 weeks are done already!

Now I still need to do week 14 which I skipped because I spent more time on my last acrylic painting. Week 14 is supposed to be done in acrylics, but I think I am going to do it in watercolors instead. It’s a lady in a weird pose, so I am going to try to make her look ghostly!

I hope everyone has had a great week! We are all still well here. I hope you all are, too!

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀
