Portrait in Watercolor

Hello Friends!

Today I painted this girl in watercolor for Week #10 of Let’sFaceIt2020 with Lucy Brydon. I couldn’t believe she happened to pick a reference photo from Unsplash.com that I already had! I printed it out last week to use as a reference photo for a charcoal portrait which I still plan to do.

I have been wanting to learn to paint darker skin tones for awhile now. I think I want to try painting this one in acrylics at some point, too.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
