Frida Kahlo Portrait – Stage 2
Hello Friends!
I know yesterday I said I was going to take a break. Well, that didn’t happen! Instead I cranked up some Moody Blues and decided to work on Frida.
I did not plan on doing this much, but I don’t write down my color mixtures, so while I had paints mixed for the colors that were working, I went for finishing everything except her clothes and the background.
I may finish her tomorrow morning before I have to go to physical therapy in the afternoon. Then later in the week I will get back to my other portrait.
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

She has a very manly look, doesn’t she? Maybe it’s the “eyebrow,” but her features are generally quite heavy. But she is definitely identifiable as Frida! Well done, Patsy.

Yes, she does. That is what is so unique about her. And I love the way she emphasized her eyebrows, making them into a unibrow, in her self-portraits!
