Portrait in Charcoal
Hello Friends!
For the last few days I worked on sketching this Filipino girl in charcoal. The photo I used is of a younger looking girl but I decided to make her a little older looking.
I had to make a few attempts but I like how she turned out. I have found that I like drawing girls and women, especially those from various Asian cultures, because of their gorgeous features.
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

Very neat! Do you make your own charcoal?

Thanks. No, I don’t.

Reminds me of a school picture where the few loose strands of hair were immortalized forever. My mother always said she wanted to take the scissors whenever she saw the picture (to snip off those stray hair bits).
