Charcoal Left-Handed

Hello Friends!

Yesterday I became bored watching t.v. and reading so I got out a pad of paper, my charcoal pencils, and a print of this painting called “Paris Street; Rainy Day” by Gustave Caillebotte who was an impressionist artist in the late 1800’s.

Of course my perspeective and sizing of everything is off and I ran out of room on the far right. And I left out some background.  But it was still therapeutic.

My rotator cuff surgery went well on Monday. The sling is not very comfortable to sleep in, but I am thankful our bed adjusts to a partial sitting position so sleeping isn’t a problem.

Thanks for all of your kind thoughts and prayers, ny friends

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

  2. So glad to hear that your surgery is behind you and that it went well. Now it’s just healing time. Take it easy so you’ll heal quickly.
