Ballerinas in Oil Pastels

Hello Friends!

The other day I decided to start playing with my oil pastels some more. This is my rendition of Degas’s “Blue dancers.” I didn’t get enough of their skin tones in, though. also I did a blue background, whereas his background has more oranges and greens and a few faint images of ballerinas dressed in orange.

I am finding this medium to be challenging which I enjoy. I have done a couple more renditions of his ballerinas that will be in upcoming posts.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
