Pen and Oil Pastel Ballerina
Hello Friends!
Well, it has been awhile since I posted. We are in northern California and have been part of the power outage for about the last 30 hours. And now the temperature has dropped more. The good news is we have a new generator hooked up to our well and our water heater is gas, so we not only have running water, but we have HOT water, too! So that has been a huge plus!
Anyway, I did this drawing of Degas’s “Torso of a Dancer” with my ink pen and oil pastels which I am just learning to use. It was relaxing, though, and didn’t take too long. My shoulder is doing better since I have had the rubberbands to exercise with again. Plus, I am staying off of my laptop and other devices as much as possible. I am getting lots of reading done, and at night with the help of a head lamp. Ha, ha!! 😉
I hope everyone’s week is going well!
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀
