Swan in Mixed Media
Hello Friends!
Here is a piece I worked on a little here and there. I used my watercolor markers to color the background with my LEFT hand after putting a coat of Absorbent Ground on top of the Washi tape design I made.
Anyway, I saw my orthopedic surgeon the other day who agreed it is time to operate on my right rotator cuff. UGH! I am not looking forward to it, but it will probably be a few months from now. So in the meantime, I need to keep the muscles strong by exercising them gently and getting the rest of myself in better shape as well.
I hope everyone is having a nice long weekend. I won’t be creating as much art as I have been, but I can’t completely stop yet. Plus, I can always practice with my left hand!
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

I’m sorry that you need surgery, but hopefully that will really improve things for you. Take care.

Oh no. I’m sorry you have to have this surgery. I think it’s a good idea to practice with the other hand in the meantime. You’ll be using that hand for a while after your surgery too. I hope they can fix you up as good as new.

Thank you, Anneli. I can’t hardly write with my left hand, so I think any drawing I do may just be abstract! Lol!
