Mixed Media Llama – Step 1

Hello Friends!

This is a 12″x12″ canvas covered in a variety of Washi tapes. The next step will be covering it with clear Gesso. Then I will draw a llama (or two) on it and paint it. Not sure what else I may want to do to the background, though. I did get a couple of new colors of acrylic paint, though – “Golden Fluid Acrylics” in Phthalo Green (Yellow Shade) and Hansa Yellow Light – which I am anxious to try! So this is my project this weekend!

I got the idea from Miriam Schulman in one of her classes but I am not doing it just like hers. I like to make mine more original which is what she encourages all of her students to do.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
