Yellow Butterfly in Acrylics

Hello Friends!

Today I decided to do a butterfly in acrylics instead of mixed media. I still may do one in mixed media, but what I have in mind is going to take more planning.

At the last minute I added a couple of dragonflies, but one looks like it’s dive bombing the butterfly! Ha ha!!

I hope everyone has had a great week. I have been doing more reading than art this week. And I got a new book today. It’sĀ  called “A Mother for His Twins” and was written by my friend Jill Weatherholt! This is her third book, and you can find it on Amazon. I haven’t started it yet, though.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! šŸ˜€

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork and some writing, but I also created a blog called "My Crazy Life!" in order to simply write my short autobiography and hopefully get some feedback on it as I go. However, it is a very slow project right now. You can find it here: Thanks for visiting! :)

  1. Patsy, I particularly like the rich purple of the flowers. Thanks for sharing!
