Peonies in Mixed Media

Hello Friends!

I finally did the last flower in my online class. Peonies have so many layers of petals that I kept getting lost in them! The butterflies are ones I glued on and painted over. As you know, my favorite complementary colors are purple and yellow!

So next I have a mixed media canvas ready to paint a big butterfly onto. But I probably won’t get to that for a day or two.

We are supposed to be getting our satellite dish moved Saturday morning, so hopefully we will have our wi-fi back by that afternoon! But in the meantime, we are able to get a little with our phones.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

  1. Peony petals are quite a challenge and I looked closely to see how you made them look separated. Nice job.The whole picture looks very pretty. I’d hang that up in my house and be proud of it. A happy picture!
