American Robin Watercolor
Hello Friends!
I spent yesterday afternoon painting this Robin. I saw one hopping around in the backyard the other day and remembered I had told someone recently that I had never painted one and was going to try it soon.
So here is Robby the American Robin. We had a funny little bird come and camp out in our backyard porch every night for a few winters years ago. We used to watch him sleep from the back door window. This was when the kids were little. However, we never figured out what kind of bird it was because it was always puffed up when it slept. Then it was gone in the mornings before we got up.
Tomorrow you’ll see a couple of small paintings I did last week. But I did them with watercolor pencils so they didn’t come out as clear as I wanted. One of them is a goofy looking bird! The other is a type of Dormouse.
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀
