Goat Pencil Drawing

Hello Friends!ย

Last night I was looking at goats online to do a watercolor of. Since I have never done one before, I wanted to draw it in pencil first. So I did that in the last hour. And now I have something to post for my Friday drawing buddies, Debra and Emma!

Since I don’t have a tutorial to watch for how to get the colors of it which are shades of brown, black and grey, I am going to experiment with my paints for awhile so I can hopefully get the shades I want. It doesn’t have to be exactly like the picture I found on a website with pictures for use by anyone because they are CCO Public Domain photos. No particular person’s name are attached to them, though.

Anyway, goats are so cute! Miriam Schulman is teaching how to do a few farm animals in her new class, but I couldn’t afford to take this one, too. However, members of her Inspiration Club are allowed to post our own paintings as well even if we don’t take the class.

One of these days I will be doing more sea turtles, too. For you turtle lovers, please be patient with me! ๐Ÿ˜‰

Next week I plan on doing the second project in my watercolor class. The next animal will be a Rhinoceros which I have never drawn or painted either! I really love drawing different animals these days.

Well, I hope everyone has had a nice week. We have gotten lots of rain in the valley and snow in the mountains! I think I read somewhere that the draught in California may be over. I hope so, but I still wish it rained all year round!

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! ๐Ÿ˜

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
