Green & Flatback Sea Turtles!

Hello Friends!

Well, here are two new sea turtles that I plan to do watercolors of soon. I decided to redo my seven sea turtles. But I redrew them smaller so I can paint them on 300 lb. 11×14 watercolor paper. I am planning to get them all drawn and transferred first before I start painting.

It has been a crazy couple of days here. Our very old house here at the fish hatchery is getting a new heating and A/C unit put in. So they are having to replace all the ducts, too. Really nice workers. Our old dog has barked at them some, but is now used to them and just sleeps through it all.

The cat was out when they came yesterday. She hid until they were gone, but I had no idea where she was! Then when they left, she jumped out from behind the stove! Her fur was dusty, but she was fine.

Today I left her in the room where all her stuff is, but when they need to go in there to put the vent back in the ceiling, I will have to grab her!

I hope everyone has had a great week!

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

  3. I think that because of the shape of a turtle’s mouth it is very hard for them to look happy to our human eye. They have beautiful markings!

  4. These look good, Patsy. It’s funny how the green sea turtle lets his legs just dangle. He must be more lazy than the flatback! Have a great weekend. My eyes have gotten worse, so I won’t be on the computer much this weekend. xo
