Spring Squirrel

Hello Friends!

Today I painted a squirrel for the first time. I named her Sarah. This was really fun. It is one of the woodland creatures featured in the online class I am doing with Miriam Schulman. I didn’t paint what she did. I found my own photo reference from an animal encylopedia I have. Then I gave her a dandelion to hold.

I did this after doing another project from a new book I got in the mail today. I will be posting that one tomorrow to share with my friends for our Friday art.

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug. 😁

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

    • Thanks very much, Siri. It’s just what I love spending most of my time on. I didn’t know how to draw anything 12 years ago, so it has taken lots of reading, observation of other artists, and years of practice. I am a firm believer that anyone can learn to draw with lots of practice and determination. Keep at it!!
