Baby Chicks in Pencil
Hello Friends!
It has been quite a week here in Northern California! Storms here knocked out power for us and surrounding areas for a couple of days. What started as a thunderstorm also brought snow levels down to 1000 feet which is where we are! So we had wet snow and over 5″ of rain in the last few days.
I sketched these chicks quickly last night which was all I had the energy to do. I think I may have a cold now. Our power came back on yesterday afternoon, so it was an unusual Valentine’s day this year! I hope all of you had one filled with love. Every day is Valentine’s day for me and my husbsnd! ๐
Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! ๐

Cute little chicks! I’m sorry you had such a long time without power.

Thanks, Clare. It was only a couple of days. There are still hundreds of people in surrounding areas without it. A lot of trees and power lines came down. We were surprised we got ours back that quickly. ๐โค

They’re so cute and fluffy, it makes me feel bad that we had chicken drumsticks for supper tonight. (Sorry.)

We had drumsticks and thighs last night. ๐ However, our kids are both vegetarians now. I could just never give up fish or chicken, though.

Yeah, me either. We just won’t think about those little chicks.

I agree, every day should be Valentine’s Day, if you’re with the right person. Cute chicks, Patsy…perfect for Easter which is around the corner. Enjoy the weekend! โค
