Spotted Elephant Watercolor
Hello Friends!
Here is my watercolor of the spotted elephant from the Island of Misfit Toys in “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.” I have never thought of these toys as “misfits,” because they are all unique and just needed to be wanted and loved by a child. And isn’t this what all of us need? To be wanted and needed for who we are?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug. 😀

Cute elephant. I don’t think I’ve read the book or seen the movie, whichever it is. I’ve always been a misfit so I totally relate. 😉

This is from the movie they show on t.v. every year. He’s my favorite misfit toy.

That scene in Rudolph always made me cry…still does!

Awww…me, too, Jill! It’s so sad when the elephant says, “I guess we’re forgotten again.” Grace has a stuffed one I gave her years ago. 😀

I know! And the song…ugh! Of course, I still cry when everyone laughs at Rudolph’s nose. I’m a crybaby. 🙂

You’re not a crybaby. You’re a loving, sensitive person. 😀❤
