Eeyore for Grace

Hello Friends!

Day before yesterday I couldn’t remember where I put our wrapping paper last year. So I used some plain brown packaging paper to wrap two big presents for the kids…one for each of them. However, they needed to be brightened up, so I found a tiny picture of Eeyore on Google, and drew this from my laptop.

Then I transferred it to a piece of white Strathmore Bristol paper and painted it with my Gouache paints. It took a few hours, but as it turned out, Grace came over to wrap her presents and we visited while I worked on it. So that was a fun afternoon!

I may make a Santa hat or something separately that I can temporarily place on his head, because it is going on top of her present like a giant tag! She likes the plain background so it would be something that she can easily remove. Or I may leave it alone. We’ll see.

I am feeling anxious today to start something new or work in my journal, but I am not sure what I want to do yet. Until next time…

Have a wonderful day and give someone you love a big hug! 😀
