Foktale Week – Day 5 – Insect

Hello Friends!

I decided to draw the characters in an Aesop fable today called “The Owl and the Grasshopper.”

If you’re familiar with the fable, you know that this grasshopper’s singing kept this owl awake during the day which she did not like, so she talked him into going up to have a glass of wine that came from Olympus and was what Apollo drank before singing to the high gods.

Well, flattery only landed that grasshopper in the owl’s mouth and gave her a nice crunchy meal!

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug!  🙂

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
