The Final Piece

Hello Friends!

Well, this is the new piece and my FINAL FINAL color piece for the Golden Ticket contest in my class. It is a little bit photo enhanced, and if you saw my last post, you know I changed it some. I added my little fuchsia fish back into the composition. I also made the top dark instead of light because I wanted to give it the affect of them being at the bottom of the sea where it can sometimes be brighter which means the top of the water would be darker. I still didn’t get it how I wanted it, but I have to have it in by Friday, and I haven’t started on the second piece yet!

I think I am just going to do a black and white drawing with ink for that one which is an option. I plan to also make it much simpler with lots of white space which our instructor loves in picture books.

Yesterday I got another massage which helped a lot!! And I scheduled my next one for the first week of November. If I am going to keep doing this kind of work, they are going to be a necessity! My arm isn’t bothering me at all; it’s mostly my lower back, but I am going to sit for awhile now and work out a composition with pencil that I can go over in ink for the second piece of this final work.

I hope everyone is having a great week! It feels like it should be Friday already. I’m not used to working full-time! Ha, ha!

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! πŸ™‚

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
