Sea Turtle Drawn with Inktense Pencils

Hello Friends!

This is the another drawing I did with Inktense pencils a week or more ago. I forgot to post it!

The color of the plant at the bottom didn’t quite come out as dark as I thought it would. And I thought the red plants would come out brighter so as to be “pointing” towards the center of interest which is obviously the sea turtle. So that’s why I added the two red starfish which I think helps balance the colors overall. What do you think?

I have so many, many things to learn about composition! Like how to actually PLAN one! Ha, ha! I often just sit down and either draw something out of my head or use a picture to draw something from.

I hope everyone is having a nice week so far. Our son is coming home from the backcountry tomorrow night! We are super excited!

I had to get a massage yesterday so my arm won’t be trashed. But I am laying off of art for a few days and resting it. I’m going to stay off of my laptop now, too. Until next time…

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug!  🙂

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)
