Mr. C. Turtle Meets Hermie

Hello Friends,

So this is my finished assignment for this week! It is an 11×17 watercolor of some characters I’ve been working on. Mr. C. Turtle is telling Hermie he needs a haircut! I hope you can see Hermie’s eyes well. I also did not sign it as it shouldn’t have anything on it. The facing page of the picture book would have their dialogue with some background color, etc., but I didn’t have time to get that done.

I worked so long and hard on this yesterday, but my phone camera is not doing the colors justice for some reason. To me it looks more washed out than it actually is. But this was the best picture I could get this morning.

I need to get my day started earlier than usual because I am meeting a friend in town today.

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

  2. It almost feels like Mr. Turtle is telling Hermie to go to his room. 😉 I can’t see eyes as I can barely see this print. I’ll take your word for them.
