Frolicking Fish
Hello Friends!
Well, I got a little crazy last night while I watched “The Glass Castle.” Such a great movie! I saw it in the theater a few months after I had read the memoir. Great book and movie!
Anyway, just wanted to do some more acrylic work. This is just a little 8×10 canvas. The animals are not all in the correct SIZE perspective, but I can only fit so much on there! Ha, ha! I really like the way it turned out especially with the waves at the top of the water.
I am hoping to start on the cat painting by tomorrow. I need to work on my article assignment today. I really want to finish that soon…before my deadline!
Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

Patsy, I’m impressed by how quickly you finish paintings.

Well, I have been doing a lot of small ones lately. So once I start one, I usually finish in a few hours. 😁

Aw…I love the little fishes, Patsy! Great color choice, too. ❤

Thank you very much, Jill! They are so hard to paint even with tiny brushes. 😉💜❤

Looks like you’re having lots of fun with those acrylics.

Thanks, I am! I have always liked them for different reasons than watercolors, but I feel frustrated more with getting them to do what I want them to! Ha, ha! 😉

The nice thing is you can paint over things once they’re dry.

Yeah, that’s what I like most! In fact, the first one I attempted was a disaster. I didn’t feel like painting over it and waiting. Thankfully I have many canvases! So I will probably have to paint the first one black but I have other black canvas that I have ideas for, too.
