MY FIRST TATTOO!!

Hello Friends!

Well, I thought I would share myself with you today. This is me when I was getting my FIRST tattoo! Yes, I say first, because I am planning for my next one to be a sea turtle.

This one is a feather, in honor of my online name of “whitefeatherfloating.” However, it isn’t really white or floating on anything except my arm. Ha, ha! But this was a special day. And the reason I did not get a sea turtle first is because with this special day at this tattoo parlor, we had to choose from the ones they were offering. But that was fine.

Also, myy daughter treated me to this tattoo so how could I resist? The place where we got them done (yes, she got one, too) had a special Friday the 13th sale. So there was no extra fees involved. It was very reasonable and we had a great guy do both of ours. My daughter got “Lucky Cat.”

Anyway, since my very scary looking acrylic sea turtle didn’t go over very well (even though it isn’t finished,) I thought I would share someone else’s art with you for a change.

AND HERE IS MY FEATHER!

Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 🙂

About whitefeatherfloating

When I began this blog I was simply going to share my writing. However, after being part of the blogging world for quite some time now, I decided to begin sharing my artwork. Patsy's Creative Corner will always have my artwork. Thanks for visiting! :)

  3. Congrats!
I have a phobia of needles, so if I were to ever sit there while they create beautiful designs, it definitely wouldn’t end well. I would most likely be out of the door with an unfinished tattoo on my arm. I wish I was as brave as you.
    It looks great! 🙂

    • That’s too bad. And thanks! I actually have been used to needles my whole life. I had to get a lot of shots when I was a kid and when I had my son, I had to get my blood taken often for over 5 days while they were inducing me to have him! Otherwise, I’d most likely be with you! 🙂

  4. You’re more brave than I am, Patsy! I fainted when I got my ears pierced. 🙂

    • I am literally laughing out loud, Jill. Did you really? I got my ears pierced when I was in my early 20’s and then got a second set of holes above those several years later.
I was amazed that the tattooing didn’t sting or hurt at all. 🙂

  5. One of my good friends who will be 82 on her birthday next month, got her first tattoo just last week! They did a great job on yours too. I think my daughter wants one as well but not me. Enjoy the process.
