Leafy Sea Dragon Watercolor
Hello Friends!
I hope everyone had a happy and safe 4th of July.
So here is my next Australian Leafy Sea Dragon! I used my Prismacolor watercolir pencils and opted to do a blue background for color contrast. Normally, it would be in darker waters amongst a big bed of seaweed to use as camouflage.
Speaking of Australia, our daughter found out she is getting to go to Melbourne in October to work for two months! Through the California Conservation Corps., she applied for the exchange program a couple of months ago and was selected to go! We are all super excited about this opportunity for her!
So I told her she needs to get an underwater camera and go snorkeling and look for these magnificent creatures! I was kidding of course, but if I was physically able to handle the long flight there and could afford to go, I would! Then I would do my own snorkeling!
Have a wonderful day, and give someone you love a big hug! 😀

I’m behind again. Love the sea dragon. Too sweet looking to be a real dragon though. Your daughter is very fortunate indeed. To get to travel is a wonderful gift.
